Training Quality Improvement Manager

We're looking for a Training Quality Improvement Manager to lead and strengthen quality across our national centres.

This is a hands-on role safeguarding assessment integrity, driving consistency and ensuring full compliance with awarding organisation requirements.

You will coordinate IQA activity across programmes, support trainers and assessors to raise standards, and act as the central point of authority for audit, EQA and quality improvement.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and coordinate IQA, moderation and standardisation across centres 
  • Monitor assessment decisions to ensure fairness and compliance
  • Conduct observations and produce clear, evidence-based reports
  • Prepare for and lead EQA / external verification visits
  • Investigate malpractice and manage corrective actions
  • Analyse quality data to drive improvement
  • Coach trainers and assessors to uplift delivery and assessment standards
  • Maintain robust, audit-ready documentation


What we’re looking for

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • Assessor qualification (A1 / TAQA / D32/33)
  • IQA qualification (V1 / D34 or equivalent)
  • Experience across IQA processes and multi-site provision
  • Strong understanding of awarding organisation compliance
  • Experience leading or hosting EQA visits
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence to influence, coach and challenge positively

Desirable: Teaching qualification, IOSH, experience with e-portfolio systems
